Sabiné Bastian is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Her work moves between film, image, music, and memory. Because of this, she took the leap to start her own film production company under the name Vertigo Filmworks, inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s film Vertigo.

She is drawn to atmosphere. To the quiet tension between light and shadow, control and surrender, performance and truth.

Becoming is not a finished state.

It is forever evolving.

It is the act of returning to the work again and again until it feels honest. Never perfection.
